It happened again. I found myself in another doctor office waiting room today. This one is much smaller though and I’m sharing the space with a married couple… I think. The lady has been on Facebook since they arrived narrating the top posts of the day. “Sherri” posted on her facebook wall that she “needed to get on home where people cared about her” and she is so surprised because she always thought she didn’t like her very much. Now she’s so excited to have a new friend. Her husband has been nodding agreeing with her the entire time while but probably couldn’t tell you anything she’s said because the History Channel is having a special on The Curse of Oak Island. The man was called back for his MRI and she went outside to call her new friend.
Ahh, peace and quiet…. nope, just kidding. In walks a family of five here to bring Granny for her x-ray. Now let’s go through each…. first, we have the son, who is inspecting his dirty shirt to figure out what he ate this morning. We have a daughter, her husband and their 2 daughters… one of who is engulfed in Netflix on her phone and the other is busy texting “Lucien” her boyfriend one can only assume. Now we come to Granny… who is wheeling herself back to the MRI room because the nurse is “too freaking slow.”
Remember friends, always find the humor in everything!
